Hello :)
I’m so happy you’re here! I’d love to introduce myself and share a little about my journey as an artist, collage maker, and textile designer.
I was born and raised in Denmark, where I studied textile print at the Danish School of Design in Copenhagen. My training was deeply hands-on—I learned every step of the design process, from sketching an idea, creating an exact repeat by hand, transferring the pattern to a screen, mixing my own colors, choosing the correct fabric and finally screen printing the repeat patterns by hand. This foundation instilled in me a love for craftsmanship and the tactile nature of textile design.
Later on, love brought me to Florida (I married an American) where we raised a family. During those years, I explored new artistic expressions. I worked with watercolor, collages, mixed media, and painting, immersing myself in the freedom of organic, intuitive creativity.
Recently, I embraced digital design as a way to merge my love for traditional techniques with modern tools, bringing my ideas to life in fresh, exciting ways. Below you can see some recent designs blending drawing by hand and computer technology.
I’m excited to share a few new designs from my Seashore Collection, inspired by the serene beauty of the coast. Walking along the shore, I find inspiration in the rhythmic waves, scattered shells, smooth stones, and shifting sands - translating these elements into semi-abstract patterns for home décor.
This collection is inspired by what you may find on the beach along the ocean’s edge; water, waves, seaweed, shells, starfish, sand dollars, and grains of sand and pebbles. The colors reflect the sun, sky, water, and sand.
The designs are perfect for wallpaper, pillows, table linens, and bedding, bringing a sense of natural harmony into your space.
